Helping Hoover Students
Beyond The Classroom

Hoover Helps is a community-driven nonprofit fighting food insecurity and
supporting the basic needs of students across Hoover City Schools.

We Believe Every Child Deserves
Support, Stability, And Opportunity

Hoover Helps was created to help meet the basic needs of children and families within Hoover City Schools. While Hoover is known as a thriving community, many students still face food insecurity and other daily challenges that impact their ability to learn and grow.

By partnering with school counselors, faith-based organizations, local businesses, and volunteers, Hoover Helps works to ensure students receive the support they need both inside and outside the classroom.

The Need Exists Closer Than
Most People Realize

Nearly 30% of students within Hoover City Schools qualify for free or reduced lunch programs. Behind those numbers are real children and families facing difficult situations every day.

Hoover Helps exists to bridge the gap by providing consistent support, practical resources, and community-driven solutions for students in need.
