Supporting Hoover Students
In Real, Practical Ways

Hoover Helps creates and supports programs that provide food, essentials, and community-driven support for students and families across Hoover City Schools.

Meeting Needs Beyond
The Classroom

Through partnerships with schools, counselors, churches, volunteers, and local organizations, Hoover Helps works to ensure students have access to food, essentials, and support when they need it most.

Every program is designed to serve students in practical, meaningful, and dignified ways while strengthening the Hoover community as a whole.

Backpack Feeding Programs

Backpack feeding programs provide dependable weekend meals for students experiencing food insecurity across Hoover City Schools.

Working alongside local faith-based organizations and school counselors, Hoover Helps helps ensure children have access to food outside of school hours so they can return ready to learn and succeed.
